Discover Lapland off the beaten track

Your Guide in Lappland – Andreas "Sancho" Querengässer
Long-distance hiking and extended cycling tours through Europe are my passion. Between 2020 and 2025 alone, I covered around 9,000 kilometers on foot and another 13,000 kilometers by bicycle.
Since 2010 I have been living in Swedish Lapland – a decision that has shaped my life.
Join me in these pristine landscapes: I offer guided tours in summer and winter in the mountains of northern Sweden.
Find the perfect tour for you
The vastness of Lapland – with its seemingly endless forests, countless lakes, and fascinating mountains – is one of the last remaining wilderness areas in Europe. Discover these landscapes with me: I offer guided tours in the mountains around Arjeplog in both summer and winter.

Ever heard of post-trail blues?
My book Post-Trail-Blues will be published at the end of 2026 by North of the sun Publisher
What happens when an intense adventure ends – and everyday life suddenly feels alien? This book explores precisely this question. It sheds light on what lies behind the post-trail blues, how it manifests itself, and why it affects more people than one might think.
The book is about, among other things:
- How it feels and how you can recognize it
- Why it's important to understand it
- Whether and how it can be avoided
- Ways back to everyday life
The post-trail blues affects many: long-term travelers, outdoor guides, wilderness educators – but also people experiencing a period of transition after intense phases of life. The experiences gathered in this book helped me to better understand and cope with my own emotional rollercoaster. I'm not a doctor, but I 'm familiar with the topic. That's why I'm convinced this book can also accompany you on your journey.
